How To Measure
Find a similar style from your wardrobe that fits you just right. To take measurements, lay the garment down on a flat surface without stretching the fabric.
Waist
Measure across the garment at the natural waist and double the measurement.
Rise
Measure from the middle of the waistband to where the inseams (legs) meet.
Leg Opening
Measure across the leg opening, then double the measurement.
Inseam
Measure down the inner leg from the crotch to the leg opening.
Hip
Measure across the garment at the widest part of the hip and double the measurement.

Nice, but stretch out quite a bit
These fit well at first - true to size (6), but after wearing them for a few hours the waistband starts to loosen, and I found myself tugging at them and pulling them up for the rest of the day. The butt also felt saggy. That being said, I wouldn't size down because I can't imagine how I would be able to pull a smaller size up all the way lol! I guess this means I might be between a 4 and a 6.

Love these Pants!
I'm absolutely in love with these pant. Bought size 4 fits perfectly, not too tight but very slim looking. Theory are genius in making these. Only concern is that elastic band will loosen up after ware. Was going to purchase another pair in Navy but only to found out that NAP sell $40 cheaper so went with them. If you have pear shaped body like me, buy these and you won't regret!

Wanted to love these, but didn't
I really wanted to love these but the fit was weird on me. I am 5'6, 130 and athletic build (not curvy). I ordered the 4 (which felt a bit too big) and maybe could have done a 2 but it would not have been comfortable. They felt a little gap-y upper legs and waist, yet the crotch part felt too short. The pockets popped out in an unflattering way. Really bummed as I'm looking for the perfect ankle length black pant for every day.

Best Pants Ever
I love these pants! I can totally live in them all year unless its super Cali cold--which is 50! The material is great and wears super well. I take a 2 and get the legs tapered--perfect. I'm 5'4 and 103 and 62 so...Definitely will purchase again and again.

Fantastic basic pants
These are the most comfortable pants I've ever owned, period. They don't bunch, wrinkle or pinch, and they are light but substantial enough to keep everything in place.
I'm usually on the full side of a size 4 and the 4 fits perfectly (a little tighter than on the model). The only quibble you may have is that they make a slight swish sound a you walk. Also, as they have no closure (they're pull-up) I'm a bit worried that the waistband will loosen up with all the having to go up my generous bum. But the quality promises not to disappoint.

Amazing pants
i got these pants in Navy. I am 5'3 and 120 pounds and got the small size. No one does pants like Theory. These pants are no exception. The cut is perfect and on trend, the quality is high and they are as comfortable as sweatpants (partly because of the elastic waist). Highly recommend.
