narrow shoe opening
I just received the Catania boot. very nice quality but the shoe opening is very narrow .I had to use my shoe horn and my thinnest socks to get my foot in . I also had a very hard time getting my foot in . I have narrow feet so I can imagine a person with a thicker foot not being able to put them on . I got these on sales final so I cant return them . Once my foot was in ,I had room in the front . But the back of my heel was touching the back . I am a size 8 -8 1/2 half . If I got a size 9 I don't know if I would of had an easier time getting them on ,or the front of my toes would of been looser. In the end if you have thicker feet and ankles these shoes may not fit .
