Measure across the garment at the natural waist and double the measurement.

Very Boxy, Nice Material
This is very oversized definitely size down. Fit is VERY wide and boxy, not what I was looking for it's going back but the material is very beautiful and soft.

I love this jacket! The color is like butter and the fit is perfectly oversized and boxy. I absolutely love it.

Different fit than pictured - returning
The denim is really nice and soft and the color is amazing. Unfortunately the fit is very different than i expected. I thought it would be long and straight, but it's quite boxy and cropped. The pleats on the body of the jacket are kind of 80s so it puffs out from the shoulders. The sleeves are also tailored weirdly and have that 80s puffy look. Not really flattering. Too bad this was not at all what i was looking for!
