In 2009, Ariel Gordon Maffei launched Ariel Gordon Jewelry as a way to escape the hectic pace of her job as a Hollywood publicist. Eventually, she decided to take on jewelry design as a career, enrolling at the renowned Revere Academy in San Francisco for an education in metalwork and stone-setting. Gordon Maffei’s aim is to craft timeless, versatile pieces for people like her, who wear favorite pieces for months at a time. The result has been an exquisite line of jewelry, made in LA from fine metals and conflict-free stones.
