Find a similar style from your wardrobe that fits you just right. To take measurements, lay the garment down on a flat surface without stretching the fabric.
Waist
Measure across the garment at the natural waist and double the measurement.
Rise
Measure from the middle of the waistband to where the inseams (legs) meet.
Leg Opening
Measure across the leg opening, then double the measurement.
Inseam
Measure down the inner leg from the crotch to the leg opening.
Hip
Measure across the garment at the widest part of the hip and double the measurement.

My favorite pair of black jeans!
I've had these jeans since October and I absolutely love them! I love FRAME denim because their material is so easy to wear. It is soft, stretchy, and easy to move in. I have washed these jeans several times and the color has yet to fade any. I would recommend these jeans to anyone looking for a pair of black jeans. I would also recommend the brand to anyone! I would go out of my way to say that I love FRAME more than J-Brand and Citizens of Humanity. I've been a huge fan of J-Brand since 2008 but since FRAME came out a few years ago, I've switched favorites.

Low rise
These are great if you're looking for a comfortable, low rise pair of black skinny jeans. They run one size large and were ankle length on me (5'6). Unfortunately they were not for me, I prefer a mid-rise and so I sent them back.

LOVE, glad I got my normal size
These pants/jeans are a great weight and are very comfortable. They are definitely stretchy, but they aren't legging material so they seem more appropriate for all occasions. I am glad I bought my usual size. They loosen slightly as you wear them, but I think the smaller size would have pinched at the waist. Really recommend these pants!

I am 5'4 115ilbs and the 25 fit very well, length perfect no altering , snug bot not too tight - wish I had the 26 for bloated days :) totally recommended Frame denim....I do wear a 26 in Frame totally different material less lycra

Perfect classic skinny jeans
I agree with the others who suggest to size down to your "skinny" size- such great advice and makes such a huge difference! When they fit correctly they are super flattering and mould to the body, if that makes sense. I tried my usual size, and I found they slid down on the hips and were not as flattering, which is why I have another pair of Frame jeans that I was disappointed with. The leg length is good for me, I am 5'6" with a 32" inseam and athletic legs. Personally I love how they are not too tight at the ankle.

Instantly a go to jean. These hug, have great structure (I wear them to work with a blouse and a blazer), don't bleed and have the perfect length (I'm 5'7''). I read the earlier reviews to order your 'skinny' size and it was the perfect advice!
