Find a similar style from your wardrobe that fits you just right. To take measurements, lay the garment down on a flat surface without stretching the fabric.
Waist
Measure across the garment at the natural waist and double the measurement.
Rise
Measure from the middle of the waistband to where the inseams (legs) meet.
Leg Opening
Measure across the leg opening, then double the measurement.

Another Great Pant
Nili Lotan is known for her great pants, and I own many pairs of her different styles. This cropped military pant is a style she's been carrying for years, and it stands the test of time. All of Lotan's clothing tends to run a bit large so I order down one size (she carries a 00 on her site), or buy the 0 and wash and put in the dryer as it will shrink enough to fit me. I've owned this pant for years and update it with new colors frequently as it looks great with just about anything you can imagine. This pant is a classic and you can't go wrong.

Love these Pants!!
I absolutely love Nili Lotan Cropped Military pants and in fact these are my 3rd pair. (I have Olive, Black, and Olive with a stripe down the leg). Quality is first rate. Fit through legs and hips is excellent. I am 00 or small size 0 and these are a tad big in the waist. But...they look great with a belt and can be paired with anything from silk to sweatshirt and sneakers to heels.

What I've learned about these pants is yes they are a bit large in the waist, but that is intentional- meant to be worn lower waisted with slouchy look. I wanted to wear them "normal" though so I will need a belt or take in 1/4-1/2". On me the 10 was a more polished fit which I wanted. 5' 4", 145, athletic, broad build, muscular legs and thighs, short-waisted, larger back side. Size 10 fits a teeny tad loose but so happy back side fits! Size 8 is too tight from thighs up to waist. If you have a normal back side you would probably be fine with 1 size down if you don't want loose fit. Material is great- mid-lightweight, soft, and wears very well- I wore for 1/2 day and very minimal stretch/sagginess in knees and upper back thigh/seat which I'm happy about. Flap back pockets are done right- not placed too low!! (yay), and they don't have the buttons in the middle of the flap pockets. Definitely worth the splurge. Tailored enough to wear slouchy but not look sloppy. Love them!

I'm a size 25 in jeans and 5'2 and initially ordered a size 2 in these but had to return and got a size 0 instead. Don't take the other reviews regarding the waist lightly because with this type of stretchy fabric it will only stretch even more. Size 0 fits perfectly. A little snug on the legs at first but i only anticipate them to stretch out well.

Flattering and Comfortable
Very flattering and comfortable. I agree with the other reviews that these run big in the waist. I've found that to be true with all of Nili Lotan's pants, though. Despite the waist issue, I kept the pair I ordered. They are adorable and different.

These pants are not only well constructed, but offer a departure from the usual jeans look.
I wear with them loafers or boots. They fall at my ankle since I am 5ft 1 in . They would be much shorter on an average woman. I bought a second pair.

Knee pleats makes my legs look straight and thin, but very comfortable with stretchy fabric and zipper at cuffs. True to size at legs but a bit large around waist. Price is high for a casual wear but worth it. I hope there is other color like white, stone, etc, then I will definitely buy.

I agree with the other reviews that the waist does slide down a bit (a belt helps that). I hesitated to keep them for that reason, combined with the price, but they just looked so darn cute on, and the fabric is so comfy but flattering - especially in the thighs. The pants have an intriguing combination of snug, flattering fit combined with interesting gathering, slouching and seaming. After wearing them around all weekend I ordered the second color.
A 6 in these fit great. I'm usually a 28 in J Brand, but in Theory I'm a 6 on a good day or an 8 on a day I'm going to be sitting or traveling for hours...

Cropped Military Pants
I agree with the others, the waist is kindof big. Mine stretched out a bit throughout the day after washing, also. Other than that I really like them. I'm 5'2" so they're not so cropped on me, more ankle length which is what I wanted.
