The size is the size shown in the picture on the model - they are larger than I would normally wear but I was going for statement earrings that is still quality. I wish they came in an option with silver backing for the white version but I'm going to purchase the white bc they other pair I purchased were perfect (this review is for the rainbow/multi-color option I purchased over the summer currently sold out) .

On the one hand, for 4 inch earrings, they aren't heavy. This is a good thing. On the other, these are seriously cheap in construction. One knock and they'll break. I am really not impressed with them and will be returning them.
