Measure across the garment at the natural waist and double the measurement.

The Dee Ultra High Rise Shorts
I wear a 25 in the AGOLDE Parkers. I got a 26 in these, because I thought I wanted a looser fit. Could *barely* get these on.

Good Fit
Reading the other two reviews, I was confused on how these shorts would fit. However, I decided to go with my normal size (27) for AGolde and they fit great! They're high waisted and fit comfortably around the waist - not too tight. The leg/thigh opening is comfortable with some space so that they don't become tight when sitting. I can't wait to wear these to the beach! Good purchase - when in doubt, order your normal size. I gave four stars because of the color...I really wanted the denim wash.

I sized up on these shorts since they didn't have any stretch, in the hopes that I could wear them slightly slouchy. Unfortunately, they were still very tight. The slit on the thigh wasn't as aggressive as it appears in the picture though. Unless you're super slim, you'll want to size up! I'm returning these since they weren't comfortable on me.

The shorts are slightly bigger than usual. I would probably go one size down. And they are quite long too. But otherwise, I love the design.
