I thought I was going to love these boots, especially having read the other positive review. Sadly, the quality of the leather is not equal to the price tag. My pair arrived with gray stretchmarks all over the front of each shoe because the leather is too thin and taut. They didn't even look new. Back on the hunt for the perfect fall boot!

I have been searching for a pair of basic black ankle boots to go with pants and dresses and this pair is it. The leather is soft and the shaft fits like socks. There is no problem even when wearing it with pants having narrowing leg openings. Good purchase.
