About the only thing I like about these is the warm fleece. They are definetly way too short, just to the knee. I don't like the nylon outer material. I ordered the grey ( on sale) to test them out. Not worth sending back. I 'll wear them scrunched down with short boots for warmth, but not for style.

More of a sock
My job is in outside sales, in Toronto, so I find the winter months long, and my toes cold. I heard about Plush and their fleece lined tights so when I saw they had a thigh high, I decided to get them. The actual thigh highs are much shorter than I anticipated, only coming to just above the knees. I am 5'8, which is not super tall, so I was a little surprised. That being said, the fleece lining is awesome and I got great use out of them this winter. Because they were short, I opted to roll them just below the knee and wear them as socks. It would be great if they added a Tall size.

Have tried these on and they feel so solid and warm. I have bought them for an upcoming trip to Europe and while I plan on taking a suspender belt to ensure they stay up, they are perfect because being only thigh high, they will be warm without being too hot.
I am 5 foot 4 and of medium/small build.

Legs like four compressed frankfurters..
These thigh highs are very soft and warm... But...very tight at the top... I'm quite slim, so I was very surprised when I Iooked myself at the mirror and my legs looked like four compressed frankfurters....

The material is nice and thick, but does not fit as shown in the picture. The ankle area is very loose and shapeless. These socks are better suited to wear with knee high boots for that layered look.

I don' think I'd be surviving the winter in NYC this year without these. They are so soft and warm on the inside, but don't appear at all bulky or thick. I wear them over boots and fold them down just below my knee, or as is with a military ankle-bootie and skirt or dress. They make a huge difference in terms of warmth from regular tights or socks, and I am so grateful to have them in my closet!

They're warm and soft and they can go up a lot higher than pictured on the model. I'm 5'7" 130 lbs and they can get to my upper thigh, but they won't stay there. I'm going to have to add a little extra to make sure they stay like thigh-high tights. The banding is similar to any banding for regular stockings.
