Find a similar style from your wardrobe that fits you just right. To take measurements, lay the garment down on a flat surface without stretching the fabric.
Waist
Measure across the garment at the natural waist and double the measurement.
Rise
Measure from the middle of the waistband to where the inseams (legs) meet.
Leg Opening
Measure across the leg opening, then double the measurement.

True to Size, but Odd Fit
These pants were true to size (25 inch waist, 35 inch hips, 5'9"). The material was very soft and comfortable, but it almost felt like a knit material, which wasn't what I was looking for. They are also VERY high waisted - like 3 inches above my belly button. The length is ok - but the inseam on the pair I received wasn't quite as long as the description says - it was more like 35.5, which might not seem like that much of a difference, but when you're tall, every little bit of length counts. The main reason I decided to return was the crotch length. It was just oddly long, which ruined the overall look. I had high hopes for these pants, but unfortunately they just didn't work for me.

Excellent Modern Fit
These pants were exactly what I was looking for. I dislike traditional tapered pants with a front zip and pockets due to the unwanted bulk they add. These are streamlined and flattering once you get the fit right. At first, I ordered them in my original size and they were way too big. I ordered the next size down and they were just right, except for the length. Black Halo pants and jumpsuits run extremely long. Unless you are model height, you will have to alter them. The fabric is high quality and mid weight. There are seams that run down the middle of the leg in the front and back. They don't stand out on the black pants but it is noticeable on the white pants. Though I wanted the pants in black and white, I ended up keeping the black pants and returning the white pants because of the seams.
