Waist
Measure across the garment at the natural waist and double the measurement.
Length
Measure from the center of the shoulder seam to the hem in a straight line.

Not Flattering
I was expecting this dress to be flattering considering the amount of research I did on it before buying. However, it was very plan looking & did nothing to flatter. I returned it & it took a long time to process. It was an added headache to return the item. Very much not happy I purchased this item.

Too small
I am size 4, 5'7, 134 lb and 34D and this dress fits perfectly except in the bust (I cannot close the zipper). If I order a size up, it will be too large everywhere else. Too bad, the dress is otherwise very flattering.

Great Dress but runs very small
This dress is about 2 sizes smaller than a US8 I have purchased from anywhere else (regularly buy from US retailers). The gap at the top of the zipper across my back was 10CM.
The dress is great but I completely disagree with the "fits true to size". Fabric, length, sleeves, neckline and everything else was great and if it wasn't for the large sum of money I have spent on shipping it over then also returning it from Australia, I would buy a replacement in a heartbeat... albeit two sizes larger.
The lower star rating is a reflection of the site's accuracy in description rather than the dress. I expect better from on-line retailers in 2018 as nearly $100 AUD in shipping costs is a high price to pay for their error.

An all time favorite dress! It fit like a glove and I receive so many compliments on it. Perfect for work, or to dress it up at night. Great quality with a little stretch. I'm a size 4 and it was true to size!

Flattering Dress
Nice looking, versatile dress that's great for work when paired with a blazer. I have a relatively straight frame and purchased my normal size 0, and found the dress to be pretty tight...although not tight enough to exchange for a larger size. Although I have to watch what I eat when wearing this dress, I must say it is very flattering and lays nicely even though it's probably a tad too small. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.

I don't know why I keep pursuing these dresses as even though the reviews are very promising and the dress looks lovely on the model, the cut really doesn't suit me (I'm curvy and a 34D for reference). I ordered one to two sizes up from my usual size as the previous Jackie O dress I purchased from Black Halo was tiny! I purchased the dress in white which is now sold out and it fits well, however it just isn't very flattering. It is not a great cut and the seams over the bottom at the back look like really bad VPL. The fabric was unexpectedly stretchy and would have made the dress quite comfortable to wear if it wasn't for the unflattering cut. I would return this dress if the returns were not so expensive from Australia. I'm very disappointed as I was hoping to wear this dress to my engagement party

My perfect "go to"
True to size, well-made and very consistent from color to color/fabric to fabric (I own more than one). Tailored and classic. Indestructible fabric that travels great. Just tough to put a jacket over. So, more of a summer or warm weather item for me.
I consistently wear a 0 or 2 and am average height, and like this is a size 2.

Great Dress
Great looking classic dress. Ordered the 6 after researching that the dress fit snugly but its too big. The 4 fits perfectly. I am 5 foot 7 inches and 135 pounds smaller chest dress fits great a bit longer then I would want probably hem about 1 inch so it comes to the knee. Slit is relatively high in the back but this dress is very nice for day or night!
