ABOUT THE BRAND
The Castaner history dates back to 1776 with the birth of the family’s first espadrille maker, Rafael Castaner, who began the Castaner shoemaking business in a small workshop. The label expanded, and with that expansion came a colorful history that included soling soldiers for the Spanish Civil War and working with Yves Saint Laurent to design the first ever wedge espadrille.
