Cute, but painful and not true to size
I must've bought this 3 times in hopes it would fit and feel comfortable. I usually wear a 6.5-7. I first got them in a 6.5, they were huge and hard as a rock. I thought maybe they would be ok in the next size down (6).Still too big. I was about to give up, but saw that it came in 5.5. It finally fit, but was so uncomfortable! They are definitely a great style, but why is the leather so hard. There is no way someone can walk in these without getting blisters. i don't think you could even break them in.

Feet killers
This is just my experience, but I could not imagine anyone wore these before mass producing them. I have narrow feet, but these were excruciating across the top of the forefoot. Unfortunately the first (and only) time I wore them was en-route to work - I only had them on for 3 minutes and had to detour to the shop for shoe gels and band-aids - which were useless. Not only were these painful to the structure of the feet, they also peeled a good amount of skin off my feet. A very expensive and painful single wear. I hope others have found them wearable - but, alas they were a fail for me. So bad, I can't imagine ever looking at this brand again. For anyone interested in a fit review ... for reference - I have long, narrow feet, and I am typically a size 9.5 (39.5/40) - I got the 9.5 in these. They were slightly long - but probably not enough to size down. However, if they were ones that 'gave' over time (which I don't believe they would - very stiff) I would size down a half.
