Paco Rabanne
Spanish designer Francisco “Paco” Rabaneda Cuervo cut his teeth at Givenchy and Dior before launching his namesake label Paco Rabanne in 1966, as a way to showcase his rebellious style. His use of unconventional materials, like metal and plastic, in clothing quickly earned the designer a reputation as the l’enfant terrible of 1960s fashion. By braiding together art and fashion, Paco Rabanne clothing and accessories remain as uncompromisingly unique as its founder.
