Find a similar style from your wardrobe that fits you just right. To take measurements, lay the garment down on a flat surface without stretching the fabric.
Waist
Measure across the garment at the natural waist and double the measurement.
Rise
Measure from the middle of the waistband to where the inseams (legs) meet.
Leg Opening
Measure across the leg opening, then double the measurement.
Inseam
Measure down the inner leg from the crotch to the leg opening.
Hip
Measure across the garment at the widest part of the hip and double the measurement.

Pleasantly surprised
I , like many others who reviewed, have been looking for the perfect short in cutoffs. I have thick upper thighs and a tiny waist. I hate the feeling of tight jean on my legs. I got the shorts yesterday and I am happy. One thing I will say though is that I am normally a womans size 8 I am 5'7 and 148lbs. Though everyone said these shorts run big I went with a larger size. I ordered a 31 which is the equivalent of a 12? Is that juniors or misses? Because a 31 to me is a 8-10, anyway they fit my womanly body perfect. The shorts are a little shorter than I'd like but overall looked cute. The price for me is high. $128 for shorts? but when seeking the perfect pair you maybe have to spend the money. Id say thumbs up to the Parker short.

I have several parker shorts but this one was not up to par. After a couple wear it was completely destroyed and now I can only wear it to the beach. Bummer!

Amazing jean shorts but don't last
These are my most favorite jean shorts I have ever owned. They fit me perfectly and I always get a million compliments on them. Sadly after just 6 months of regular wear and minimal washing, the seams at the bottoms of the shorts are splitting up the shorts and becoming too revealing to wear anywhere beyond the beach. The distressed part of the jeans is VERY distressed.

Quite Literally Broken
I loved these shorts when I first got them, however, after only two wears, the seams have split at the bottom of each side, and the rips are slowly making their way up. So disappointed that I'll never be able to wear these again after the money spent on them and so few wears. I didn't realize that I should have taken the "broken" wash they come in so literally.

Perfect everyday jean shorts!
I've been looking for the perfect everyday jean shorts for a long time, and I've tried A LOT of them (Rag and Bone, One Teaspoon, Free People, etc) and I think I've found them in these shorts! They're the perfect length-- not too short, but not too long, they're perfectly distressed, and they're in the perfect shade of blue. AGOLDE is my go-to jean because of their fit and cut, so if you like the fit of their normal jeans, these should fit well too. I'm 5'8" and am normally a size 25/26 in their jeans, and I got the size 25.
