Comfy, does the job
I don't love shaping shorts, thus the 4 star review, however, they are sometimes needed. I am 135 LB and in my early 40's, and got the size L. These do shape, so I suggest sizing up for comfort!

Slimming, but waist rolling
regardless of how you wear, couldn't stop the waist part from rolling. It's not too bad when you are wearing skirt/pants, but can't wear with dress as you won't be able to adjust the rolling part. Very disappointed with the purchase..

Rolling down
Slims down especially my targeted are in the tummy and lower belly but almost the same problem I had encountered with the highwaisted one is the issue of the upper part rolling down and its quite annoying coz its very obvious and whats most worst is the illusion of having 2 or more belly flabs. Much better to purchase the onesie in my opinion.

Dissapointing
Item was larger than expected and is made out of soft material so not firm. Didn't last many washes - started getting holes after 5 washes. Expected more from SPANX
