Agree about not sizing down
If you size down it might be too small around your bum, I have an XS/32 velocite and it barely closes + the arms are short for my 5 10 length though the shoulders and everything fits well, so I kept it. (Im a 4-6 US) but if you want it to fit like on the model, regular size will do.
It will be warmer and more snugly :)
Mine is an old one, one of the firsts they made and it holds up unbelievably well (I do treat it well though;)) It is an investment piece and it only looks better with wear, the sheepskin becomes less fluffy and leather has patina which I like. I'm also surprised the look hasn't gone out of style in the least bit.
