Poor customer service and shipping
I had ordered this item for a wedding event, on the basis of it being delivered to me by 30 August 2021, as indicated at the time of check out. However, shipping was not done via DHL or FedEx as per usual, but by another shipping provider called ECMS, which as you'll see from other concurring reviews online, is horribly inefficient. Despite my constant chasers to Shopbop and ECMS, the item arrived many days late, long after my event.
I asked that Shopbop bear the cost of return shipping, given that it was Shopbop that had failed to deliver on its estimated promise of express delivery. Shopbop has refused to do so.
In short, poor service in terms of shipping and even more appalling service recovery.
