a textural spin on a classic
I'm loving this jacket so far and people have complimented me on the unique, pebbled texture. I will say the jacket takes some getting used to--it will take several wears before it gets more soft and malleable. I love that the hardware is nearly black (so you can wear it with all kinds of metallics and colors), and the length on my 5'6" frame is perfect. It's not cropped--bonus! Plenty of room for my 34DD chest (which is growing, thank you pregnancy). It's a classic with a twist that will endure.

needed a smaller size
Loved the inky color and the ankle length to show off a shoe. Also liked that it felt like a legging as well, while being a jean. If they had these in a 28 (I ordered the 29--the only remaining size close to my regular, pre-pregnancy size), there's no doubt I'd be keeping them. Thanks for all the maternity jean selections, Shopbop!

no stretch
These were perfect... until I tried sitting down and also bending to pick something up. Due to the 100% cotton material (which feels FAB), there is zero stretch. In my pregnancy wardrobe--that's a no-go. So sadly it was returned, though I loved it so. I'll be on the lookout for another pair of black overalls!

perfectly.... linty
I adored the style but it being acrylic, it shed on EVERYTHING. Not wanting to bring a lint roller with me at all times, I returned it sadly. 5 style star points though!

Preggo PERFECTION
Paige has been a go-to brand for me pre-pregnancy and didn't fail me as an expectant first time mom. I ordered the 28 and it fit like a glove. Black is a perfect black and so is the length (I'm 5'6"). My only small gripe is that the material attracts a little sweater lint and scarves but it's a small price to pay for an awesome fit.

an almost fit
I'm about 20 weeks and I was surprised that neither the 28 or 29 in these fit. I adored the inky color--like a very dark indigo that reads almost black. A shame, otherwise I'd keep. But after a few minutes of trying on, both sizes sagged in the hips and were starting to slide down and that just can't fly in pregnancy. Otherwise perfect on all fronts, including length and color. IMO, I'd size down from your pre-pregnancy size.

no belly stretch
I loved everything about this pair except one glaring thing: there was zero elastic/stretch for a growing tummy (for reference I'm at 20 weeks and ordered a medium)! No side elastic panel, no front panel--nada. Legs fit great and love the opacity, but the lack of elastic was a no-go. I returned it immediately unfortunately.

Great Style, Jury Still Out
A great looking shoe with overall suede, perforated leather and wooden elements that really make this stand out. I originally got a 10 and returned for a 9.5. Even with an insole I can stick my index finger behind both heels but feel a 9 would be too small in the forefoot. Without an insole the ball of the foot hurt after standing for 2 hours, but I can say with an insole, I can endure longer. If wearing skinnies, these fall just a hair above a 30-32" inseam (I'm 5'6") and the profile looks great with dresses too. We'll see how they do on the San Francisco hills I walk!

Nice
Great, true, cobalt color. Length is right. Incredibly soft material. One thing to note is how incredibly paper thin the material is--the hang tags read that this is due to the "delicate nature" of the imported corduroy (the jeans are made in the US!). Another note says it will stain other clothes, so be forewarned. Sale price made it attractive.
I'm 5'6" and a street size, curvy 8 and got the 29.

Jury's still out...
PROS:
- love the wash
- length (it's an ankle jean, to be sure. I'm 5'6" and the jean hem is falling right where the model's is in the picture
- soft fabric
- looks great with flats and I rolled up the hem once to go with my Acne Pistol boots and that looked good
- sale price makes it attractive
CONS:
- the "tuxedo" stripe isn't as noticeable, it's pretty subtle. So subtle in fact, that I may end up hand dye-ing it black, which is a bummer of a thing to do
- the rise, though listed as 8.5", is really low in the front. Back rise is fine, but the front was the issue for me
- I can see this stretching out quite a bit (it's 98.5% cotton and 1.5% spandex), which is a bummer. Contrary to the previous reviews, I'd actually recommend sizing down from your usual size. (I ordered the 30 based on reviews and wished I got the 29.)
About me: Street size 8, curvy. 28/29 in Rag & Bone jeans; 28/29 in Earnest Sewn; 29 in Paige
