A great all-rounder
My go-to CoH jean is the Avedon (I have two pairs). I loved the look of the Arielle wash so decided to take the plunge. I'm 5' 10" with long legs and wear a 32 (NZ 14/US 10). I adore the Arielle as much as the Avedon but there are key differences. First, they're about 1.5cm shorter. Second, the denim is thicker than the Avedon but still comfy. Third, they're a low-mid rise so no belt needed to keep them on my non-existent bum. The wash is perfect. Avedon fans, I recommend the Arielle as a safe but different option.

Faithful Avedons won't let you down
I already own a pair of Avedons (in shade 'Cannes'). The Cruz is slightly darker and more of an even dye job than the Cannes wash. I am 5' 10" with long legs and they sit just on the ankle. The same soft denim as my other Avedons and a perfect fit (I'm a NZ 14/US 10 with a tummy and wear the 32). I have no bum so whilst they're flattering on the rear, I need to wear a belt as the low-rise Avedon tends to sit low.

Versatile, warm and chic
Gorgeous soft cashmere in a perfect mid-grey shade. I have tried this on with various outfits and it just lifts them up. Can't wait for it to get cooler here in Auckland so I can wear it out (and on the plane too). The fabric sheds very slightly so you might want to consider this if wearing with black. Just enough length for a loop tie or pretzel loop tie. A wardrobe staple!

The Perfect Cashmere Crewneck Sweater
I had coveted Equipment cashmere for some time and finally took the plunge at the 2014 Friends and Family sale. This is a beautiful, soft and simple garment. It sits well on my body and is a straightforward style. I am 5' 10" with a very short torso and long legs and arms. My shoulders and back are quite broad and I have a tummy. I'm a 36C in the bust and an AU/NZ size 14 (about a US 10/UK 14) and the L is perfect on me. I am very particular about the fit of my clothes due to my body shape. The heather grey is just lovely: somewhere between pale grey and charcoal, it's a very chic and flattering shade (I'm a young-looking 43 with pale skin). I totally recommend this if you want a no-fail luxury cashmere jumper.

A Wardrobe Staple
Replacing my tatty old pair which I wore to death! These are the grown-up alternative to Chuck Taylors. If you are a Euro 40, order the size 9 from Shopbop. I am a New Zealand/Australian size 9/Euro 40 and they are a perfect fit.

Flattering, Contemporary and Comfy
These are soft, comfortable and the perfect leg shape. They do amazing things to your rear, and at 42 I need that! If you are a NZ size 14, go for the 32. I am a 14 with a tummy and they are flattering in the crotch with none of the dreaded you-know-what effect! Love!

The 'Don't Mess With Me' Bracelet!
This bracelet means business. In spite of the terrifying spikes, it still manages to look chic and feminine. The only downside is that I can JUST get this on/off. It's a bit painful but I guess that's a given for such a fierce-looking piece of jewellery! Ideal for meetings where you need to persuade someone to do something, get a raise etc...

Perfect Mix of Elegance and Funk
I already own Deep Freeze in black so I knew that I would also love the tortoise version. These sunglasses just make me feel cooler when I wear them. Simple as that. I'm 42 so I don't want to look like I'm trying to be 25, but I don't want to look like I'm 60 either. Deep Freeze is the perfect in-between: just the right side of cool but not too out there.

Chic and Simple
I decided to go for the black as I already have the gold version of this bangle. It's lovely and chic and simple. Just like my other one, I can just get this on my wrist, so the sizing is a little small.
