Easy Summer Dress
I got this during the spring promotion to save 15% which is a plus. But the price point after shipping and tax was still over 400 dollars.
I was very excited to receive the dress, the last XS. When I oped it, I was surprised to see cheap, metal cut outs..shapes of presents and stars if I remember correctly, sewn all over the dress. This is probably why the price point was high, and completely cheapened the look of the dress. This adornment was very juvenile. I considered keeping the dress and cutting them all off, one by one but that seemed risky and time consuming and counterintuitive for the price of this dress.
The shape of the dress is nice and a white dress for summer like this is something I want but not this one for this price. H
I always look for reviews and really appreciate reading them, so I am paying it forward. Hope this helps.

Adorable Jumpsuit
The fabric has a subtle texture, soft not sheer. A light weight for summer. and falls nicely, from the body, not clingy. There is elastic at the ankle so I can roll them up to get the same look at the tall model without hemming. (I am 5'3)..the shoulder has ties to help adjust. I think this is a great piece, that will travel well. Purchased the size small but, could had sized up. Price point is very fair. Great job Madewell!

Ill-Fitted
My mother often used the term "ill-fitted." The term came to mind as soon as I tried it on. The length is NOT 33" more like 37" .I am 5'3 and this went down to the tops of my knees. I actually was OK with the length and had hoped the length was off because it appeared longer on the model.
The top just hangs. The beading is heavy and holds it's own well, but does not help the drape of the fabric. The way the fabric does not drape against the chest was the deal breaker. This is a high price point for something to not be flattering. It is pretty, and not sheer silk, you can get away without a slip. It is made as a cover up and it could be a comfy throw on with little effort. But for that price, I needed it to be flattering. I wanted to love this. Sending this back ASAP.

V Back Top
I am a sucker for a V back. This top is no exception. It is beautifully made, had a great drape against the body. Not sheer so no bra necessary for me (32B, 34A-B)
The photo does not show thedetail very well. There is a belt detail that bottons on but may be removed. If you removed the belt for more versatility (tucking in perhaps) there is a built in elastic that cinches at the waist around the back). I would had preferred the elastic not be there but I still adore the top. It will be worn all year round. From a pair of dress shorts, to slacks to a maxi skirt with pearls draped down the back of the V..it offers lots of possibilities. Love the top, looking foward to wearing it!

V Back Tank
The tank is a heavy weight and holds it's own shape. There is some space under the arm, bust area but I believe that is designed on purpose. The line of the tank is very flattering. The price point was a bit steep and I had hoped I woud not like it but I did, I am keeping it. The peachy color is pretty and will hold it's own with sorts or a skirt. Personally I expect to leave the tank hanging, not tucked in..too much tee for tucking in.

Easy Summer Dress
I got the blue color and had to order a size small because the XS was sold through. The XS would had fit slightly better but the small is workable. The fabric of the dress is a good weight and hangs nicely on the body. The dual slits on the side allow the fall to be forgiving and easy to wear for all activities. The peek-a-boo cut outs are just enjough but not over the top flashy. This is a great go to piece all summer. Takes no thought to throw and go..great travel companion as well. Holds it's shape without ironing needed. Great dress, I see the gray maked down and if I did not have the blue I would def. try the gray. Gray being more difficult to hide any bumps..but with a good undergarment, worth the shot.

Acne IIon Layered Miniskirt
I am 5'4 and wear a 0-4 depending on the designer. The model was wearing a 34 for this item and it hit so high on the high (which is adorable if you have great thighs but I do not)..that I thought I would order up to try to cover the thigh. I thought the elastic waist smocking would be forgiving to size up. The skirt is adorable, it is simple white but with a contemporary fun detail of the asymetrical layering (subtle detail but nice extra for the money).. The skirts sold through while I was waiting for my 36 to arrive. With heavy heart I returned it. While waiting for my credit to replace it with a smaller size, a 34 is now available. I would grab it but I purchased two skirts that were too large and I need to wait until Shopbop will refund my money.
I think it would be great customer service for Shopbop to hold an item if a customer calls and gives them the return shipping receipt label number, in good faith. Now, I sit and anxiously await to see.
This skirt is adorable!
