Castaner Wins!
If you're waffling between the Castaner and Soludos espadrille, I would spend the extra money and go with the Castaners. Having tried both brands on in the similar styles they offer, my opinion is that the Castaners are more comfortable and flattering. I have this shoe in black too and am very happy with them. I wear a 7.5 -8 and have wide feet. I ordered the 38 and took them to a shoe repair shop to get stretched across the width. I do this with almost all my shoes. They fit perfect and I love them!

Love these babies
I'm obsessed with these shoes. They're a great option if you want to wear heels but also be casual and summery. I think my ankles are quite fat but somehow the ribbons hide that and look v flattering actually. With the pandemic and everything, I'm not feeling heels anymore so these are a great option. Get a pair, you won't regret it.

So cute, but ran large for me
I'm a solid 7.5 in shoes. I ordered these espadrilles in a 38 as recommended by the size chart, but they were too big length/width-wise. Returned, and ordered them again in a 37, and they fit much better. I feel like a half size would have been perfect, but these only come in whole sizes. Either way, I recommend sizing down if you are a half size. I have an average (maybe ever so slightly narrow) width foot for reference. Sizing issues aside, I do really like these. The footbed is nicely padded and comfortable. The 80cm (3.5 inch) height seems to be fine for wearing for longer periods of time.

I totally agree with the above reviewer. The Castaner espadrille is more comfortable, more flattering and worth the extra cost. I have this shoe in black and in tan. Comfortable summer shoe

Classic Espadrille
I have two other Castaner espadrille but love this style the best with the pointed toe. It makes your legs look longer. Super comfortable and perfect summer shoe!

Large Fit
Im not sure if it's because my foot is a little more towards the flat arch, but they were not comfortable to walk in (because of the size issue). They do run somewhat wide so that was great but not good for narrow feet. The shoe is comfortable (soft), but since it fit large it was uncomfortable to try and walk with them without walking like Frankenstine . I loved the shoe over all and the color. I didn't give it a bad rating because over all its a lovely shoe, that one just didn't work for me. I will be trying others until I find the correct one.

Platform Espadrilles
I love these platform espadrilles. They're really easy to walk in and the ankle strap holds them on. Espadrilles can be tricky (for me anyway) to walk in as they are stiff and tend to come lose at the heel. These are comfy right out of the box. Highly recommend.

Classic High-Heeled Espadrille!
Sorting out clothes and shoes for the upcoming summer, I had to come to terms with my go-to black suede espadrilles being... really, really tired. They went to the shoe shop last summer, had a glorious renaissance, and have endured me and wood-glue trying to give them a boost this spring. Enter Castaner to the rescue.
