Like many other reviewers, I found these oddly designed and tough to wear. I wanted so much to like them so tried two sizes with no success. After a 3 minute walk to my car, I had to turn around and go home to change shoes. They caused the worst tears on my ankle that I've ever had from shoes. Plus the triangle cuts, literally cut into the top of my foot. Instead of a back seam, the seams are on the side of your foot and rub against your ankle. Maybe if you have very, very narrow feet. Otherwise skip this shoe.

Love these shoes! Thanks to all who left reviews-helped me nail my size on the first try. I'm usually a size 7, sometimes up or down a half-size depending on designer (always 6.5 in stuart w. boots, which run large); I have an average width foot. I ordered a 38 and it was the perfect size for me (I tend to wear without socks). The leather is a bit stiff at first, so a shoehorn helped to get them on, but once they were on, they fit well - roomy in the toe box. They are a bit narrow through the band across the top, but have already relaxed after three wears and I'm finding them comfortable. They are beautiful shoes - right on trend (and VERY similar to the Proenza version). I've received many compliments already. Not for you if you have a wide foot, or a high instep, but otherwise I recommend.

I'm always a Nike 38.5 but I can definitely fit in a 37 of these loafers since I've got very narrow feet. Narrow, yes, but still runs quite big in length. So go one or one and half size smaller, if your feet are very narrow.

These should have been specified as not true to size, size up! I'm always a 40 and buy confidently on line. These loafers are so beautiful and the workmanship is fabulous BUT oh my!! Like Cinderalla's ugly sister I tried to force my foot into the shoe but there was no way I could get them on. Too short and narrow and the leather had no give. For reference I bought Bruno Premi loafers in a 40 at the same time, popped them on and walked 8 city blocks without rubbing or blisters to my feet.

Amazing Quality Lug Sole Loafer, size 39 slipped a bit; they are heavier weight, and the 38 too Tight. I am a Solid size 8. Maybe try another 39 Later! So Disappointed! Beautiful Craftsmanship!

I loved the look of these shoes.
I ordered a 38 ( am a rock solid 38 always) ..... these shoes run very small and narrow . I would have needed a 39.
The leather is so heavy and thick so there is no way they could stretch out . I won't be ordering the size up due to the stiff heavy leather , blisters would be a certainty.
Very sad these did not work out
Two stars for design

These boots are amazing! However, the sizing conversion on the Shopbop site is incorrect I would say. I am almost always an 8 in boots, so I ordered size 38. They ran much more like a 7-7.5 US. I exchanged for a 39 and they fit perfectly!

Wasn't expecting to love these as much as I did. They're a little heavy, but if you're going for the chunky look these are for you! I'm a true 7 1/2 and the 38s fit perfectly with room to wear thicker socks. These are my new go to everyday winter boot!

Just received these and they are so cute - they look high quality and are easy to put on. However, the EU sizing listed is incorrect. The box of the boots itself says size 41/size 9 US/size 8 UK, which is inconsistent with Shopbop's conversion. I am so disappointed as I am a size 10/10.5 and was hoping the 41 would work, but I will have to return them. They seem to fit more like a 9.5 US as I can get them on fine but my toe hits the edge with a very thin sock. Hope this helps!

I usually wear a size 7, and got the size 39 as suggested by the shopbop. They are huge! I would need to size down at least one size. Also they run extremely wide and I have narrow feet, so I dont think any size of these should work for me. However, they are very cute and seem very comfortable. These would work well for someone with wide feet, if they get the sizing right.

The way the sizing is converted seems to be incorrect. I am a size 7.5/8 which is usually at 38 in EU sizes, but with the conversion in the product details it told me to order a 40, which was way too big, so I reordered a 39 which equates to a US 7, and it is still too big. Now I have to order a third pair, size 38, which is what I should have ordered in the first place if they hadn't listed it incorrectly. The shoe is well made and I like the look. Super heavy though.

I keep seeing similar boots from designer labels for much higher prices. I love the length, the double tabs, the thick sole, the shine on the leather. I like this style more than some of the higher priced boots. They are just a gorgeous in person as they are in the photo.

These shoes are really cute but not for everyone's anatomy. The shaft of the boot is quite slim and tall, so it would buckle or be tight around the calf for those with muscular calves or shorter legs. They also run pretty narrow and I say this as someone with narrow feet. If I had to do it again I would size up, but hoping the leather will give a little over time.

These are sooo cute but they bunched awkwardly at my ankles. Sadly I had to return them :(
