How To Measure
Find a similar style from your wardrobe that fits you just right. To take measurements, lay the garment down on a flat surface without stretching the fabric.
Waist
Measure across the garment at the natural waist and double the measurement.
Rise
Measure from the middle of the waistband to where the inseams (legs) meet.
Leg Opening
Measure across the leg opening, then double the measurement.
Inseam
Measure down the inner leg from the crotch to the leg opening.
Hip
Measure across the garment at the widest part of the hip and double the measurement.

I love AG, but these ran SO SO small, I am a true 28, true 6 6. I couldn't button these for the life of me...Sad, b/c they are cute.

Strange fit in between sizees
I had read so many reviews about these jeans and was excited to buy during Black Friday. I am a 26-27 in most denim (26 in all Madewell) and ordered the 26 first. I could barely button the top and couldn't imagine them stretching enough to be comfortable. Then I ordered the 27 and they seemed to fit perfectly (so I returned the 26) but after 1-2 wears, the crotch and bottom were all baggy and the button fly poofed out in a not so flattering way. Unfortunately, I washed them hoping they'd shrink and they didn't so I can't return. Maybe it's just my body type but essentially, neither size fit (unless the 26 would have stretched out after more wear...seems unlikely given how tight they were). I'm super bummed as I now have a $180 pair of very baggy, casual jeans which is not what I was aiming for. The wash and denim is really cute! For reference, I'm 5'6" and 125 lbs.

I'm 5'1, 34b, 123lbs (hips/butt) and and a true size 27 in all the other denim I own. Agolde has always fit me small when it comes to the Riley crop style. I think people need to realize, that Rise and Inseam will re-adjust your waist sizing so I'm thankful Shopbop lists both of those because they matter for petite girls like me ( I can't wear any Rizes over 10.75inches or they go into my rib cage and look silly). I wear a 28 in this style and have it in two colors, it fits me perfectly (not tight or loose) and does not stretch or shrink when washed. Also, being 5'1 the inseam of 25.25 fits me like an actual pant (not cropped). Love the quality of this style and wash, you won't be disappointed if you get your sizing right. Trust me!

Sizing Way Off
I normally love Agolde denim and was so disappointed in these. Because they were non-stretch I ordered a 27 versus the 26 in my other fav pair of Agolde jeans, and they are way too big. I can't return them now since I washed them, thinking they would get a little more snug. Definitely order your usual size if not size down in these.

Runs slightly large
I typically wear a size 25 in Agolde jeans that have no stretch. I ordered my normal size & the first time I tried it on, it felt OK, not loose but not quite fitted. But, I figured it would shrink with a wash & dry. After taking it out of the dryer, I realized there was no shrinking at all. I can't return this now but it definitely feels a full size too large so I would recommend ordering down a size.

Can be tight if you're curvy
These are great quality jeans. I have several pair of AGOLDE denim and they're some of my favorite denim. I am normally a 26 and these "fit." I can put them on but they're snug in my upper thigh and waist area. I'm curvy with bigger thighs and hips, so keep that in mind.

My sizing has been off and this is my first pair of Agolde Jeans so I ordered both a 28 and a 27 in these jeans. First thought is that they are the softest pair of 100% cotton denim I have ever felt. I am 5'7" and the jeans hit right above my ankle. My thighs are a little muscular so the 27 fits a little tighter on my thighs but they are a little big on my waist. There is now way my thighs will fit in a 26 so I am keeping the 27. They are tight enough on my thighs that they should stay up. For reference I am 5'7" and weigh 136.

Excellent Mom Jeans
If you are looking to test the waters of the "mom jeans" trend but don't want to dive in, these are the jeans for you. They are straight down the front and looser in the thighs. They are nice and high and sit comfortably above the waist. I leave four stars instead of five because they don't suck in my stomach as well as my Moussy jeans. For reference, I am 5'5 and hover around 115-118 lbs and usually wear a 25 or 26 in denim. Based on other reviews, I ordered a 25. The size 25 fit perfectly, and I think the 26 probably would have drowned me. If you are between two sizes, definitely size down.
