Find a similar style from your wardrobe that fits you just right. To take measurements, lay the garment down on a flat surface without stretching the fabric.
Waist
Measure across the garment at the natural waist and double the measurement.
Rise
Measure from the middle of the waistband to where the inseams (legs) meet.
Leg Opening
Measure across the leg opening, then double the measurement.
Inseam
Measure down the inner leg from the crotch to the leg opening.
Hip
Measure across the garment at the widest part of the hip and double the measurement.

Didn't want to love them
These jeans fit like they were made for my body! I'm normally a size 28 in jeans / pants (135-140, 5'6, curvy-athletic). I anxiously ordered a 27 hoping they wouldn't give me muffin top (since all other reviewers said to size down), and they fit like a dream. I am officially a fan of this brand.

I love love love the way it hugs my body. Just the right amount of stretch too. But the jeans are actually a lot lighter than they appear in the pic. Great summer jeans which I will wear for a looooooong time!

Way too big, misleading informations
I ordered these twice and still too big.
They say follow the size chart, they have info about the model, it's just so false. I am so disappointed I bought these, because now they never get used and they aren't cheap. I am 160 cm, W24, L30, hips 36. I ordered a size 25, way too big, ordered again 24, they fitted me so I didn't return. after wearing them few times, they got big on me. If you check the size chart, it doesn't match, and also the model is W23 and wears a size 26???? just annoyed that I can't exchange them for a smaller size now.

Comfortable except for the button fly
These are really a nice wash. Super flattering as long as you're upright. I have a short torso, so when I sat down the button fly bunched up in a way that I felt wasn't flattering. I returned them with regret, because the detailing on these is superb. Love that Mother reinforces the "shredding" on their jeans so you don't have to worry about them falling apart. If these hadn't had a button fly, I'd have kept them.

Girlfriend jeans
I love the wash, the fit and the distressing. But after only like 2 wears, they kind of stretched out, so instead of the skinny fit like on the model, they're kind of like a girlfriend jean fit on me now, which is disappointing since I wanted skinny jeans. The waist still fits well, it's just the hips, thighs and legs part that became loose.

Soft Comfy but Larger than Usual
Bought a 28 because I have had 2 other pairs of Mother in the same size. Unfortunately, it didn't fit as TTS. Excess around the butt, waist and crotch. Had to return for a 27. I think because the denim is so soft and kinda adheres to your body, I could even go a size down to 26 - it'll be snug (not tight) but be perfect as you wear it out through the day. Still, a great piece of denim from Mother.

Flattering
Most flattering high waisted jeans I have tried to date. Holds the abdomen, hugs the thigh and slim the legs. It is soft and stretchy and I am hoping it holds its shape as I totally love the fit now. Fits TTS for me.

I love Mother jeans. Very well made, and always worth the price. I am 108 pounds and 5'3" tall. I ordered these jeans in a size 24. They run larger than I expected. If I keep these jeans I will need to have them taken in at the waste. My concern is whether or not they will stretch out after wearing them. If you are considering these jeans you may want to go down a size.
