versatile clutch
After seeing this clutch all over blogger accounts, I finally decided to purchase it last year... sure glad I did! I waited until the famous Shopbop sale, so scored it for a good deal to boot! It's a great size, fits more than you'd think, and really goes with any outfit. People either compliment it, or want to touch it -- the haircalf is so soft! I knocked off one star though because be forewarned as other reviewers have mentioned -- what you see might not be what you get in terms of color variation. I was happy with mine, but if you're really picky about it, might be worth going into a brick-&-mortar retailer to pick yours out in person.

I am glad i was able to write a review because i bought this clutch thinking it was going to come out EXACTLY like the picture but unfortunately when i got it it was NOTHING like the picture, the color was more of a chocolate brown instead of the light brown with blk spots, after reading the information provided in shipping box it then said that not all clutche's fur are the same, i wish it would have said that before i ordered it, i had to return it and re order another one in hopes that i would get one similar to the pictured and what i had in mind. luckily it was somewhat better but in the back the fur was all white....not exactly but it will do, don't want to keep buying it and waiting to see if it is the exact same one...so just beware you might get one with a totally different shade of browns and white included!

i first ordered the flat version of this classic clutch and was disappointed with the variance of the fabric. under the black spots the brown was mixed with white patches that made it look like a cow hide almost. the item description does note that each clutch varies. so i decided to try this fold over clutch instead. i was so pleased with the fabric and the fold over really does add something different to the style. this goes withe everything and is easily one of the best accessories/bags i've ever bought. even if you are not into print/leopard, this really acts as a neutral while still adding some excitement to any outfit. for me, it's just the right way to add a bit of leopard and variety to any outfit. the material is beautiful, i know this clutch will last for years to come and become a staple in my wardrobe.

Beautiful Clutch but Lots of White/Dark
This clutch is of such beautiful quality - it's super soft and the zipper is smooth and I really don't think any other "lookalike" will match the quality of this original. However, the one I received from ShopBop in the F&F sale was not consistent in color - there was plenty of darker and lighter areas and big areas of white. It looked more like the photo on the Claire V. website as of Oct 2015 and not the one pictured on this site. Sadly, I had to return it as the variation in color, I felt, detracted from the look.
