this has become my staple. through showers, etc, i won't take It off. goes with absolutely everything. perfect coin necklace , especially compared to all the others out there, more expensive. It looks so authentic chic, and rich. the chain and pendant size couldn't be more perfect. no tarnishes issue

You had me and then you lost me...
I purchased this pendant through ShopBop via Amazon. I read the reviews regarding issues with tarnishing and just like everything else in my life - I decided it couldn't happen to me. This is a lovely pendant indeed and I loved wearing it for about 10 days.....until it tarnished along the chain and I decided googling how to clean it was a bad warning sign of things to come. Return it goes.

Tarnished before I had a chance to wear
I had this necklace on my bathroom counter which is separated by a door from my shower so there was minimal exposure to moisture. Before I even had a chance to wear it, the gold completely tarnished and the pendant turned a dark color. SUPER disappointed especially since Shopbop wanted me to pay for return shipping because I had misplaced the return label.

I was searching for an affordable gold pendant coin necklace for so long. I was so excited when I found this one on Shopbop. I loved it! I got so many compliments on it when I wore it for the first couple of weeks. After less than a month, the pendant completely tarnished. It is now unwearable because it is so tarnished. The pendant is black and you can't even see the design. I'm beyond disappointed.
