Measure across the garment at the natural waist and double the measurement.
Rise
Measure from the middle of the waistband to where the inseams (legs) meet.

Not crazy about these jeans.
Unfortunately, I returned these. The color was off, it looks better on my computer than in person. I'm 5'8" 130lbs and athletic, so I'm not stick-thin, but I'm also not curvy. I ordered a size 26. I would say my thighs/quads are slightly big/muscular from working out, so these fit like skinny jeans through and through, especially on my thighs. They did make my butt look good. But honestly, they look better on the model. I returned them.

Asking my friend to brought this as combine shipping ...this is my first wedgie levis. the material are thick and hard after few wash now are so comfortable....now been few months I had change the style to ripped jeans .....I prefer to make my own ripped jeans....to my favor. My usual size 28 brought size 28. Machine Wash and using dryer ...no problem at all... First wear after wash might be tight but after fews mins will be better....highly recommend...

I love them so much! It's my first pair of Levi's. I am 5 foot 3 and have a 25 inch waist. I got a size 26 and they stop right at my ankle at the cutest length. They are mid rise which is perfect since my torso isn't long. They also have a nice stretch to them, which I didn't know but it did help my thighs fit!

Sadly I am one of the very fews who doesn't like these jeans. I love Levi's for their quality, styles and reasonable prices, (I own a few), but these just did not make the cut. I got them in my usual size-25 (I'm 5'2/115 lb. These are snug but probably will stretch a little with wear and hit me at my ankles, which I like. They just looked so unflattering on me for some reason. With them having fly buttons, it was so hard to button them when they are slightly snug. Nothing was attractive about them on me so I had to exchange for another pair in color-Shut up. Crossing my fingers that those would work better.

i am 5'1, around 106 lbs with a small waist and wider hips+bum+thighs, and these fit great in a size 26. i own another pair in the wedgie straight style (same size & fabric composition) and they fit almost exactly the same, except this is slimmer in cut so it hugs the body more. it also tapers at the ankles which i love. but because i am short, i do have to roll the hem up a couple of times. levi's quality is top notch (they wash super well!) and i am a fan of the button fly front. these are high-waisted on my petite frame, though the waistband rests right around my belly button so not *quite* at my true waist. i'd buy all colors of the wedgie style jeans if i could; they are perfect for us pear-shaped gals.
